Thanks for the Ayumi Hamasaki 3D Concert. It is good to see the newest technology like 3D on your website. I don't have a 3D set and it still looks cool.
Reply:
It may be new technology here, but it is old in Japan. The Ayumi Hamasaki 3D Concert was recorded in 2009. Click Below to view.
Thank you for the Ami Suzuki Tribute Page. I watched the entire mini concert. If anyone deserves it, she does. All of her dance music reminds me of Disco..
Reply:
It is, Japanese disco. The club music scene continued to grow in England and Asia long after it died here. There will always be a disco in the world playing dance beats at 3am with flashing lights. It is human nature. Click on the Tokyo Underground Club Links “CyberJapan” for more information.
The Graceland Photos are breath taking. I had no idea that there is such a large turn out for the anniversary of his death.

Yes, and it was the 34th year for the Fan Club from Japan. We were not Elvis fans when we booked reservations, but we were when we left. Everyone needs to go to the Heartbreak Hotel. Click Below to view.
I saw you and your wife at the Asian Pacific. Thanks for having a English based website that introduces Asian heritage such as Vietnam Amerasians to their home culture. We do not have any media that does in this fashion. Thank you.

Due to the Obama economy we will not sell the Jade until the administration changes. We want to sell the Jade at an American price, not at a third world
discount ! Sorry both you and I will have to wait.

Do you think that the current economy is caused by a conspiracy?
Reply:
What I do know, is that forces from within our government starting in 06/2008, orchestrated a hostile take over of American business to devalue the stock and then buy it back at a discount with your tax dollars. This is a fact. There are no conspiracy theories. Sorry, I do not discuss editorials. Click Below.
Persons that have illegal pirated Microsoft software Operation systems will develop a black desk top with a copyright warning at start up. The Chinese business community filed law suits against Microsoft since over 30% of the operating systems in China is illegal. Microsoft stood by there international copyright agreements. This was just a warning shot; eventually these illegal programs will not upgrade or operate.

I saw your recent brief review of The Mysterians at Amazon.com.
I very well remember watching this movie with my dad back in the 60s. It was truly great and made a lasting impression.
The reviews made me want to see the movie again but it is not available for rent locally nor is it available in the holdings of my local libraries (Provo, UT). I may elect to just buy it off the internet.
In the meantime, can you please answer two questions for me?
(1) I know the aliens looked like Power Rangers with snug jumpsuits and motorcycle helmets but I can't remember if they ever took off their helmets to show their faces, which would have been Japanese actors without any makeup. That's how I seem to remember it, but I may be wrong. So can you kindly clarify this minor detail for me?
(2) Did the giant robot (Moguera) melt tanks with his eyes or did he just blow them up instead?
Reply:
You are right about the Mysterians. They spoke Japanese, knew everyone's name, and had a group of girls picked out to kidnap.
The robot blew up the tanks. The large dome that came out of the ground did melt the tanks.
When I recorded this movie off TV, I never got the entire picture. The movie is filmed in a type of cinemascope called Tohoscope a wide screen HD 235:1 type format. The movie also has surround sound tracks. It was years ahead of it's time for 1957.
The DVD is worth the purchase from Amazon. It has both original Japanese with English subtitles, and a dubbed in English language version.
This movie caused me to have a early fascination with Japan and Science Fiction.
Thanks for the Halloween Concert. I know that this is early. But Thanks ! For all of the people that spend hours each day looking for something different. This is it !

I noticed that you list no Muslim Celebrations?
Reply:
I do list the Bohol Sandugo Festival. This should be viewed as a Muslim Holiday since it marked the beginning of Spanish rule in the Philippines and was signed by a Moro leader. I am currently reseaching anti-christian celebrations in Mindanao, but these may never be listed in AE.
No. I miss the Red Square parades, because the Russian people respect strength. They were proud of their military. We have a mutual respect for the same things. Today we have another Czar. And China as always will take care of itself.
I was searching on Timway and accidentally stumbled upon your website. I was able to link to another Chinese website that I could read! It’s unusual to be able do this. This is a website that links the current festival with the traditional Buddhist beginnings. I know what you are doing.

On most search engines, such as Yehey in the Philippines, asianentertainment.org is listed as an adult dating site. What happened ?
Reply:
When I purchased the name in 2006 I found that many search providers did list the site in this manner do to the past history. I am currently changing this. AE.org is such a good name to have that I had to grab it. Filters may still list the website as adult material, but in reality it is an adult based website with adult links and not for children. Some of our linked sites such as Japundit have Asian date sponsors. We list underground rave club links in Japan. AE is listing adult material and family material together. The policy of AE is not to accept date based advertising of any kind.

When you wish upon a star sounded best when sung by the cricket?
Reply:
Walt Disney was a big fan of Japanese culture. He would have loved to have a Tanabata celebration at Disneyland. Now the Star Festival celebrations are at Tokyo Disney.
When you wish upon a star originally came from the movie Pinocchio sung by; you are right... Jimmy the Cricket.
I changed the video from Christina Aguilera to Joey Yung. Hope you like it?
