HATSUNE MIKU
Hatsune Miku is a singing synthesizer application with a female persona, developed by Crypton Future Media. It uses Yamaha Corporation's Vocaloid 2 synthesizing technology mixed with hologram projection. Her name comes from a fusion of the Japanese words for first (hatsu), sound (ne) and future (Miku). Hatsu Miku.She performes at her concerts onstage live as a vacaloid hologram projection. Miku was the first Vacoloid in Japan to have a number one hit song on the Oricon Charts.As a virtual idol, Hatsune Miku performed her first "live" concert during Animelo Summer Live at the Saitama Super Arena on August 22, 2009.She performed her first international live concert in November 2009 at the Anime Festival in Singapore. In March of 2010, Miku's first solo live performance titled "Miku no Hi Kanshasai " was presented at the Zepp in Odaiba, Tokyo. Miku performed her first US concert at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles during the 2011 Anime Expo.
