Good to hear from you Larry. I am sorry to say that I was in the layoff. The economy is so screwed up at this time.

I liked the Valentine's Day in Japan article. You can really see that the men control the society there, and that the women are second class citizens.
Reply:
The girls in Osaka seem to think so. Please research the internet survey. They claim that they don’t like the Holiday, but they gave away tons of Giri Choco, and seemed to be having fun doing it.

I saw this when she first did the music video. It's not a new video, but it is the sexiest thing she's every done. Better than Poem to a Horse. I love her purple hair and short school girl dress.
Reply:
Yes it is. I was so happy to find it and dig it up. See Video below if you don't know what we're talking about. I watch it over and over again like a Zombie.

Your website is easy to read and bright. Personally I was not familiar with the music of Anita Mui, but I have started to go back now and search for her songs. How often do you update and do you have a feed?
Reply:
Thanks. Updates are every 10 days. RSS feeds are only on photography on the ROP site.

I noticed that you list no Muslim Celebrations?
Reply:
I do list the Bohol Sandugo Festival. This should be viewed as a Muslim Holiday since it marked the beginning of Spanish rule in the Philippines and was signed by a Moro leader. I am currently reseaching anti-christian celebrations in Mindanao, but these may never be listed in AE.

About Red Square? Are you a communist?
Reply:
No. I miss the Red Square parades, because the Russian people respect strength. They were proud of their military. We have a mutual respect for the same things. Today we have another Czar. And China as always will take care of itself.

I was searching on Timway and accidentally stumbled upon your website. I was able to link to another Chinese website that I could read! It’s unusual to be able do this. This is a website that links the current festival with the traditional Buddhist beginnings. I know what you are doing.

On most search engines, such as Yehey in the Philippines, asianentertainment.org is listed as an adult dating site. What happened ?
Reply:
When I purchased the name in 2006 I found that many search providers did list the site in this manner do to the past history. I am currently changing this. AE.org is such a good name to have that I had to grab it. Filters may still list the website as adult material, but in reality it is an adult based website with adult links and not for children. Some of our linked sites such as Japundit have Asian date sponsors. We list underground rave club links in Japan. AE is listing adult material and family material together. The policy of AE is not to accept date based advertising of any kind.

I had no idea that Kentucky Fried Chicken in Japan sold Xmas cakes. How weird is that? I did some searhing on Japanese Chrismas.
Reply:
For a Shinto-Buddist country it is twisted. But, I am so glad that they so much enjoy the Holiday. Check out Halloween Week in Japan in the October section.
Currently the Haunted House at Toko Disney is being re designed to be a Jack and Sally Halloween Town! What a great idea!
